Bathroom Renovation!

Jason has been busy working on renovating our bathroom for the last few weeks. He completely gutted it and started over. It has been a big job and an interesting process. We lost our basement bathroom in the flood so renovating a bathroom and using that bathroom at the same time was quite a challenge! There were several days that we took a bath upstairs (shower not hooked up), used the toilet downstairs (hooked up the old one from upstairs so we had a toilet), brushed our teeth in the kitchen and I did my makeup and hair at the kitchen counter! I was so glad when it was DONE yesterday! This is the first project Jason has pretty much completed on his own. He had some help from my dad and his dad but the majority was done by himself! I absolutely love the result!

When Jason bought the house in 2007 the bathroom looked like this.....pink with carpet.
Carpet in a bathroom...YUCK! We will consider this the before, before photo.

We painted dark green (not really my favorite) and put vinyl flooring in.
We will consider this the before photo.

Down to the studs.

New tub and shower!!

After...LOVE it! Dark brown dura ceramic tile, new tub and shower, new sheet rock and paint, new pedestal sink (it makes the bathroom look lots bigger), new lighting and fan. The only thing we are missing is the window treatment.
