North Dakota State Fair

We spent Tuesday evening at the fair. Minot did not host the fair last year because of the flood so Grayson really had no idea what to expect. We got to the fair at about
4:00 PM and left at about 10:00 PM. He had lots of fun and was very well behaved!

He was in awe when we first got there. Here is a picture of him soaking it all in.

He liked feeding the animals at the petting zoo.

The pony ride was also fun. Grayson loves horses so wanted to go on a pony ride immediately when he saw them!

But his favorite part of the fair were the...RIDES!!! The kiddie rides require you to be 36 inches tall in order to go on them. Grayson was just a hair under 36 inches. He got to go on several of them. He wasn't scared one bit....his Mommy and Daddy were the first couple rides though! He did great! What a funny kid. We only bought him 10 ride coupons but Grandpa and Grandma Steele bought more when they met up with us. He was on cloud nine!

Jason went on the twirling teacups with him.

When Gray spotted this slide he HAD to go on it. Let's just say we weren't so sure but figured we would let him try it one time. He was the smallest kid in line and made it to the top faster than several of the kids. He is so stinkin' coordinated and can climb like a monkey. He was all smiles at the bottom of the slide and had to do it more than once. When we asked him what his favorite part of the fair was he said, "the climby thingy with the slide!"

Grayson keeps asking us how the fair is going to come back next year. I think he asked us 50 times today...haha! He had tons of fun :o)
