We have been super busy since school got out!! We were busy getting ready for a garage sale that we had this weekend...it was a lot of work but well worth it! We made a great profit.
Here are some pictures of what else has been keeping us busy!
On Saturday while we were cleaning up the sale Grandpa Bill found a turtle crossing the road right by our house! Grayson was thrilled! We put the turtle in a tote with some water and Grayson "fed" it worms, bugs, grass and leaves. After about 20 minutes of fun; Grandpa, Grandma and Grayson returned him to the river.

Turtley the turtle. Yes, Gray named him.
Feeding a turtle is hard work!

On Saturday evening we had Jason's family over for a bonfire. Grayson enjoyed some Smores. I am not sure if he had more in his tummy or on his face :)
We took a break from the fire to take a bath and wash off the smores. Gray thought it was fun to sit by the fire with his paci and blanket.
Preschool!! I decided it would be fun to do some preschool activities with Grayson over the summer. Today was our first day and he seemed to really like it! I hope he will stay interested in learning everything I have planned!
This is his preschool chart that hangs on the fridge. Each week has a theme and we will cover a new concept each day.
The theme this week is "Cows". The vocabulary word is "calf", a baby cow. Gray colored pictures of a cow and a calf and posted them to his chart. He also made a cow puppet! He had fun gluing fuzzy spots on the cow and putting googly eyes on him!
He was proud of his puppet!
We finally got our garden planted tonight. Grayson enjoyed helping.
Gray figured out how to set the hose so it would spray water up at him like a sprinkler. He thought he was so funny!

We are glad summer is here and anticipating a much better summer than we had last year! No flood!
